Shape the Future of Wind Energy Research

events | WESC

The new eawe conference series „Wind Energy Science Conference“ is next to the “Science of Making Torque from Wind“ the second conference series of the European Academy of Wind Energy.

The conference covers all scientific topics in wind energy with the main idea that scientists interested in various aspects of wind energy can meet across traditional scientific borders.

The purpose of the conference is to gather leading scientists and researchers in the field of wind energy to present their findings in oral presentations, based on a 1-page abstract and, in order to cover the latest news, there will be no papers published during the conference.
However, the conference is organized in close collaboration with the Wind Energy Science journal and presenters are encouraged to submit their work to this journal.

Included in the conference there will be a series of mini-symposia and side-events.
A mini-symposium is a special session which consists of a number of coordinated presentations on a selected topic of substantial current interest and importance in wind energy. Each mini-symposium is organized by a number of conveners. The mini-symposia are open for all interested persons, but presentation is by invitation only.

The first Wind Energy Science Conference was organized on June 26 - 29, 2017 by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
