The European Academy of Wind Energy (EAWE) is pleased to announce the WAKE Conference 2027, taking place on June 8–10, 2027.
The WAKE Conference is the leading international forum dedicated to wind turbine wake dynamics and wind farm aerodynamics. It brings together researchers, engineers, and PhD students from academia and industry to exchange the latest scientific and technical advances in the field.
As wind farms continue to grow in size and complexity, understanding wake interactions, turbulence, and wind farm flow behaviour remains essential for improving energy yield and reducing structural loads. The conference provides a focused platform for discussing progress in areas such as wake modelling, experimental measurements, numerical simulations, and wind farm optimisation.
Continuing the long-standing WAKE tradition rooted in Visby, Sweden, the 2027 edition will again foster high-quality scientific exchange and collaboration within the global wake research community.
