Prospective members must complete an application form detailing their involvement in wind energy research or education. The application will be reviewed by our membership committee to ensure alignment with EAWE’s mission and goals.

You will present your institution to the EAWE members during the next General Assembly Meeting
Once approved, via voting during the General Assembly Meeting, you will become an official member of EAWE.
Once you submit your application, it will undergo a thorough review process.
Expect to receive a confirmation of receipt within one week.
The membership committee will evaluate your application and provide a feedback and further details within four to six weeks. Successful applicants will be invited to present their application during the next General Assembly Meeting.

To apply for membership, organizations must submit a written application to the BOARD. The General Assembly will review and decide on the application.
Decisions by the General Assembly include:
Approving the annual report and financial records submitted by the Board
Discharging the Board
Electing Board Members
Nominating the Chairperson of the Board
Setting membership fees for Full Members
Electing the Treasurer and Cash Auditor
Discharging the Treasurer and Cash Auditor
Members can suggest new committees by presenting their ideas during a General Assembly Meeting.
Proposals should include the committee’s purpose, goals, and potential members. The new committee is established upon receiving a positive vote from the members.
No, the Vice-President does not automatically become the President. Both the President and Vice-President are elected by the General Assembly for a one-year term, and the transition of roles depends on the General Assembly’s decisions.
