Science Communication Committee

Background and vision

Welcome to the Science Communication Committee! Our mission is to advance the understanding and support of wind energy science, making it accessible to everyone—from civil society to political decision-makers—with a special focus on inspiring future generations. We strive to share knowledge through open-source content and media, ensuring that the message of wind energy science reaches diverse audiences.

Our committee focuses on three key areas:

1. Empowering Future Leaders: We are committed to educating and training the next generation of scientists, engineers, and stakeholders, starting with K-12 students. By fostering curiosity and knowledge early on, we aim to shape a sustainable future for wind energy.
2. Engaging Audiences and Policymakers: We work to highlight the importance of long-term investment in wind energy science, engaging both the public and policymakers in discussions about the need for sustained research and innovation.
3. Attracting Global Talent: We aim to inspire and attract international, diverse talent to join the wind energy community, building a global network of innovators dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
Stay tuned for updates on our ongoing efforts and important initiatives. Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future through wind energy!
