Special journal opportunity (with discount!)

PhD students who develop their conference contribution into a full journal paper for Wind Energy Science (WES) can benefit from a 20% publication discount.

  • 20% discount applies to a maximum of 17 published pages per paper
  • Only valid when the PhD candidate is the leading author
  • Eligible papers must be based on work presented at the EAWE PhD Seminar 2026
  • Manuscript must be submitted by 31 October 2026
  • The submitted paper must keep the same title and author list as the accepted abstract and presentation

When submitting your manuscript, don’t forget to request the 20% waiver during registration, and mention EAWE PhD Seminar 2026 as the reason.

All submissions will go through the standard peer-review process of Wind Energy Science — no shortcuts, just the usual high-quality review.
